Our customer base is constantly growing and changing. We are looking to augment our sales staff with individuals who will support and expand each segment of our business model. As we move into commercial markets, as well as expand our presence in the government marketplace, we seek sales representatives with high energy and enthusiasm for generating leads and aggressively pursuing them. Sales and marketing professionals are expected to have previous experience in software and technical services sales in either the commercial or defense market space. We value excellent communication skills and the technical aptitude to learn about and use our software products. As part of the TerraSim management team, we expect sales professionals to aid in product planning in order to achieve a successful presence in both traditional and emerging geospatial technology markets. Job 08-sales-civil -- Sales Representative - Civil Works
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to sell TerraSim products and technical services in the areas of geospatial database construction for site development, municipal modeling, and urban planning. The position requires at least 2 years of experience selling software and services in the civil mapping and GIS marketplace. Familiarity with defense applications of 3D visualization for modeling and simulation, training, and homeland security and monitoring is a bonus. As a TerraSim sales representative, you will be expected to generate and pursue customer leads, plan and attend trade show and product exhibitions, and travel to potential customer sites to demonstrate database construction and web-enabled 3D GIS solutions using TerraTools and TerraTours. We expect the successful candidate to be highly self-sufficient and disciplined in the tracking and development of sales leads, the maintenance of relationships with current customers and clients, and the matching of end-user technical requirements with existing and emerging capabilities. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience with setting up and executing a structured sales process with a focus on marketing issues. Sufficient computer skills to rapidly learn, meaningfully demonstrate, and clearly explain our products is a key requirement as is technical familiarity with the geospatial business environment. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to sell TerraSim products and technical services for geospatial database construction and defense modeling and simulation applications. The position requires at least 3 years of proven experience selling software and services in the US defense marketplace. Familiarity with Department of Defense live, virtual, and constructive simulation programs, C4ISR applications, and other training and mission rehearsal systems at the program level is essential. Experience within the intelligence community, particularly in the area of warfighter support, is relevant. Relationships with the current contractor base performing program planning, database construction, and systems engineering is also key for this position. As a TerraSim sales representative, you will be expected to generate and pursue customer leads, plan and attend trade show and product exhibitions, and travel to potential customer sites to demonstrate database construction using TerraTools. We expect the successful candidate to be highly self-sufficient and disciplined in the tracking and development of sales leads, maintenance of relationships with current customers and clients, and the matching of end-user technical requirements with existing and emerging capabilities. The ability to work with TerraSim senior management in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong presentation and networking skills is a key requirement. The ability to set up and execute a structured sales program, tailored to the DoD procurement process and cycle, is required.
