Pittsburgh, PA - TerraSim is showcasing several major new capabilities of its TerraTools product line at this year's I/ITSEC '00 conference. Our most significant announcement is that TerraTools® 1.3 has been released for both SGI/IRIX workstations and Windows NT/2000 workstations with OpenGL graphics cards.
TerraTools 1.3 stands as a complete solution for urban visualization applications. The standard model library, combined with TerraTools' flexibility in automated model placement, model scatter, and parameterized building model appearance generation, provide the end user with a complete, out-of-the-box solution for all of their urban modeling needs. Also included in the release is a plug-in export module developed for 3D Studio MAX that allows for user-generated models to be easily added to the highly flexible TerraTools model library.
