Pittsburgh, PA - TerraSim, Inc. will be demonstrating several major new capabilities of its TerraTools product line at this year's I/ITSEC '01 conference in Orlando, Florida, November 26-29. Highlighted will be TerraTools® 1.4, the latest and most comprehensive version of our premier geospatial database construction product, available for both SGI/IRIX workstations and Windows NT/2000/XP workstations.
The latest release of TerraTools builds upon a proven geospatial database construction process to provide even more flexibility and automation as a complete solution for urban visualization applications. New features include:
- Automated parametric bridge construction
- Tools for robust bathymetric modeling
- OrthoCam for low-resolution LODs and synoptic database overviews
- Extended model placement capabilities
- SEDRIS 3.0 export
TerraTools also includes several new import capabilities, including Bentley Microstation DGN, AutoCad DXF, USGS SDTS, XML, and several bathymetric data formats, providing even more options for high-value simulation database construction.
In addition, TerraSim will also be demonstrating GISLink™, its new technology providing seamless integration between GIS source data and database visualizations, allowing ArcView queries to be visualized in 3D.
