TerraSim Joins Pittsburgh High Technology Council

Pittsburgh, PA - TerraSim, the Pittsburgh-based visual simulation database construction company, has joined the Pittsburgh High Technology Council. The High Technology Council promotes the development and growth of the technology industry in southwestern Pennsylvania.

According to TerraSim President Dave McKeown, "We are committed to the Pittsburgh technology community and maintain strong ties with our roots at Carnegie Mellon University. Being located in "Silicon Alley" in close proximity to CMU gives us access to students and faculty to augment our core technical staff."

TerraSim will use this funding to develop novel methods for internet-based delivery of visual simulation databases and also to complement ongoing product development activity for a range of commercial workstations.

The Pittsburgh High Technology Council is a 501(c)6 nonprofit trade/industry association, formed to promote connections between and provide assistance to the high-technology companies of southwestern Pennsylvania.
