TerraSim Selected for Ben Franklin/GSIA Marketing Development Program

June 01, 1998

Pittsburgh, PA - TerraSim, Inc. is one of four small high-technology companies selected to participate in a marketing development program run jointly by the Carnegie Mellon University Graduate School of Industrial Administration (GSIA) and the Ben Franklin Technology Center of Western Pennsylvania. A team of students from the GSIA Industrial Marketing Application Project course, taught by Professor John H. Mather, will be working with TerraSim to do market analysis, develop marketing plans, and to conduct surveys of potential customers.

Dr. Chris McGlone of TerraSim is excited about the program. "This is exactly the type of relationship that makes the Pittsburgh high-tech community work. We're getting professional-quality marketing help and the GSIA team is already gathering information regarding aggressive marketing and techniques to position our product, TerraTools, in several nontraditional market segments."

The project will continue through the end of the summer.
