TerraSim Exhibits TerraTools™ V1.0 at I/ITSEC '98

Pittsburgh, PA - TerraSim has announced that it will showcase TerraTools™ at this year's Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC). This demonstration of the production version of TerraTools V1.0 will feature:

  • An advanced user interface, based upon a dataflow graph representation to make operator/system interactions more intuitive and easy to understand.
  • Native import of cartographic data in many government and civilian formats.
  • Rapid generation of terrain simulation databases using a variety of geospatial source data.
  • Export of databases into S1000, OpenFlight, and TerraSim TSG paged memory formats.

TerraSim will be located at Booth 485.

In addition to the TerraTools demonstration, David McKeown, the president of TerraSim, Inc., will be giving the following talk: "Use of NIMA MSDS for STOW Az Zubayr Database Experiment" on Wednesday, December 2, 1998 in a special papers session entitled "Merging Imagery/Geospatial Data." The session begins at 3:30 PM, Room 311 E-H, and will have speakers from NIMA (National Imagery and Mapping Agency), USGS (United States Geological Survey) and industry.
