TerraSim Demonstrates SEDRIS Transmittals

September 28, 1999

Pittsburgh, PA - TerraSim successfully demonstrated the production of SEDRIS 2.5.1 transmittals by its TerraTools ® simulation database construction product at the SEDRIS Technology Conference held September 28-30 in Alexandria, VA. Databases converted included the VSAM Schenley Park urban database and the Santa Barbara "Internet GIS" database.

Transmittals were successfully displayed using AcuSoft's Side-by-Side SEDRIS viewer. In addition TerraTools transmittals were imported and analyzed by the Institute for Defense Analyses' SEE-IT database diagnostic system. When coupled with TerraTools' internal diagnostic capability, this provides users with a sophisticated database content refinement suite.

TerraTools' SEDRIS import and export capabilities will be showcased at I/ITSEC '99, TerraSim Booth 212. TerraSim will also introduce TerraTools NT, a full functionality version of its successful SGI workstation product.
