Pittsburgh, PA - TerraSim, Inc. will be demonstrating its latest product release, TerraTools® 2.0, at this year's I/ITSEC conference in Orlando, Florida, December 2-5. TerraTools 2.0, which will be released in February 2003, is the newest and most capable version of our premier geospatial database construction product. Other new capabilities that will be highlighted are the TerraTools Plug-In for SOCET SET and the ability to export to CTDB.
TerraTools 2.0 adds to TerraSim's proven geospatial database construction process to provide a powerful suite of user interface capabilities allowing novices and experts alike to rapidly exploit GIS data, imagery, and models for high-fidelity realtime visualization. New features include:

In addition, TerraSim will be demonstrating its new plug-in for BAE SYSTEMS' SOCET SET® softcopy digital workstation. SOCET SET users can now seamlessly export imagery, cartographic feature data, and image-textured models using a plug-in, developed by TerraSim, that creates a TerraTools 1.5 project flowgraph for automated database visualization.
New urban visualization technologies will also be demonstrated, including planned community development and the automated generation of building interiors from explicit CAD models or inferred from floor plans.
