April 10, 2004
Pittsburgh, PA - TerraSim, Inc., a Sustaining Member of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS), will be demonstrating its TerraTools® and TerraTours® visual simulation software at the ASPRS Annual Meeting in Denver, CO from May 24-26, 2004.
TerraSim will also provide demonstrations of new technology to merge disparate Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) into consistent composite coverages suitable for large area visualization and planning. This DEM fusion technology employs automated cell matching, local DEM registration, and the use of precision information, when available.
In addition, TerraSim, Inc. is pleased to announce that co-founder Dr. J. Chris McGlone will be awarded the prestigious Fairchild Award for his contributions in photogrammetry and computer vision, as well as his service as the editor of the Fifth Edition of the ASPRS Manual of Photogrammetry.
Please visit us in Booth 913 for TerraSim 3D visualization technology demonstrations and to meet with Dr. McGlone on the occasion of his Fairchild Award.
