Pittsburgh, PA - TerraSim, Inc. will both exhibit and present a workshop focusing on 3D visualization through SOCET SET® at the GXP User Conference, held in San Diego, CA, February 7-10, 2005. This conference brings together users of BAE Systems' Geospatial eXploitation Products.
TerraSim will exhibit for the duration of the conference, showing new enhancements to the TerraTools® Plug-in for SOCET SET, which recently has been updated for compatibility with SOCET SET version 5.2. The entire TerraTools product line and 3D viewers, TerraTours® and TSGFly™, will be demonstrated as well.
TerraSim will present two workshops, Wednesday, February 9th (3pm - 5pm) and Thursday, February 10th (1:30pm-3:30pm), discussing the creation of 3D visualizations from SOCET SET, using TerraSim's TerraTools geospatial software, and its TerraTours interactive 3D viewer. This workshop will detail the process of data collection in SOCET SET through project export to TerraTools, where the SOCET SET project is automatically converted to a real-time 3D visualization. Discussion will also include best-practices for SOCET SET data collection for export to a 3D environment.
