Pittsburgh, PA - TerraSim, Inc., a corporate member of the IMAGE Society since 2000, will be showcasing its TerraTools® 3D geospatial visualization software product line at the 2007 IMAGE Society meeting in Scottsdale, AZ July 10-12, 2007.
TerraSim will be demonstrating productivity enhancements for TerraTools 3.5 to support complex urban database generation correlated with SAF runtime systems, including OTB, OOS, and JSAF, as well as MAK VR-Forces and MAK Stealth. Major new capabilities released in TerraTools 3.5 include:
- Generation of OneSAF databases for OOS 1.1 and 1.5
- Correlated generation of CTDB for OTB and JSAF, with OTF for OneSAF OOS
- UHRB model library for OneSAF customers
- Generation of building interiors from blueprint files
- Enhancements to support database export to MPI MetaFlight
In addition to TerraTools enhancements, TerraSim will showcase its source data preparation products, including:
- RoadMAP - Semi-automated road network extraction
- DEMTools - Extension for ArcMAP 9.x for DEM processing
Finally, during the technical session on Environmental Modeling, TerraSim will present a paper on "Automating the Generation of Urban Details" which will focus on recent work under a US Army Phase II SBIR to commercialize automated building interior generation, underground structures, and the integration of terrestrial LIDAR with model and simulation databases.
