February 26, 2008
Pittsburgh, PA - TerraSim, Inc. will be a participant at the Terrain Summit 2008 Conference in Huntsville, Alabama on March 12-13, 2008. We will be presenting a paper titled "From CTDB to OTF: Considerations for Correlated Database Conversions." Submitted under the Database Generation and Conversion topic area, this paper describes technical considerations for creating correlated OneSAF Testbed (OTB) databases in CTDB format with OneSAF Objective System (OOS) databases in OTF format. This end-to-end terrain reuse process considers both direct geometry translation and source data extraction and recompilation.
TerraSim will be demonstrating TerraTools® 3.5 Core and optional plug-ins for flexible and rapid correlated export of detailed urban databases to support OTB, OOS, JCATS, OpenFlight, and SEDRIS interchange formats.
Customer success stories using TerraTools OneSAF export will be highlighted at Booth #9 in the exhibition hall. In addition, a pre-release demonstration of TerraSim's building interior generator with export to OneSAF UHRB format will be presented.
To schedule a meeting with a TerraSim technical representative at the Terrain Summit, please contact Jillian Dobi, Corporate Communications, at firstname.lastname@example.org
