The Sample Desert Village in VBS2 Visualization highlights the use of TerraSim's Virtual Battlespace 2 (VBS2) Exporter. This plug-in exports a TerraTools database to a high-fidelity geospecific environment for VBS2 users. TerraTools Urban Details™ technology creates improvements to the database geometry and visual appearance.

The Iraqi Village database was created in TerraTools to demonstrate the integration of automatically generated building interiors, urban clutter, and improved visual appearances using multi-textures. It was produced as a visual database correlated with CTDB, OneSAF OTF, and MÄK GDB for VR-Forces.

This example demonstrates the complexity of an urban environment that can be created for the Irma runtime environment. Within TerraTools, the user specifies an observer path as a set of waypoints. This is used to control the sensor simulation camera in Irma and provides the motion of the sensor through the urban environment.

The Iraqi City database is comprised of over 100,000 unique building structures, walls, roads, and other urban details. It was automatically compiled in TerraTools without manual modeling and exported in correlated visual, CTDB, and OneSAF OTF formats.

This bathymetry database uses publicly available underwater depth data for San Diego Harbor to demonstrate TerraTools' ability to support seamless terrain integration using a coastline vector. A visual database and correlated CTDB for JSAF runtime was produced.
