Sample Desert Village in
Virtual Battlespace 2

The Sample Desert Village in VBS2 Visualization highlights the use of TerraSim's Virtual Battlespace 2 (VBS2) Exporter. This plug-in exports a TerraTools database to a high-fidelity geospecific environment for VBS2 users. TerraTools Urban Details™ technology creates improvements to the database geometry and visual appearance.

The exporter includes support for multi-textured models, collision volumes for buildings, and the ability to place models from the standard TerraTools model library, models specifically constructed for VBS2 in any of the BIA toolsets, and models created in 3DStudioMax and OpenFlight.

Databases created in TerraTools for export to VBS2 are able to be correlated with a variety of visual and constructive runtimes, including OneSAF OTF, JointSAF (JSAF) CTDB, JCATS Runtime, OneSAF Testbed (OTB) CTDB, and MÄK VR-Forces.
