These optional export plug-ins for constructive modeling and simulation formats are licensed separately and are fully interoperable with all TerraTools processing. TerraTools plug-ins can be used to export databases that are correlated across a variety of visua, constructive, and serious game runtimes. Click here for examples. This plug-in exports a TerraTools database to a OneSAF Terrain Format (OTF) compliant geotile database for use in the OneSAF runtime. Export OTF supports both single and multi-tile construction with automated geotile stitching, placement of Ultra High Resolution Buildings (UHRBs), and is compliant with the OneSAF environmental data model (EDM). UHRBs can be constructed within TerraTools Core or imported from the ARA U2MG model generator.
Multiple versions of the OTF format and EDM are supported within the OneSAF export plug-in. Currently all OTF format versions supporting OneSAF 1.1 through OneSAF 5.1, including OTF formats 5.0 through 8.0 and the EDM, have been tested and validated.
Use the links below to view the presentation slides. This plug-in exports a TerraTools database to a fully tinned, format 7 or format 8.7 CTDB containing terrain, water areas, buildings, linear features, and canopies. Export CTDB supports ModSAF, OTB 2.0, OTB 2.5, and JSAF 8.x runtimes.
This plug-in exports a TerraTools database to .daf format for use in the JCATS runtime. Terrain files can be produced in either UTM or GCS coordinate systems compatible with Version 7.1.5 or higher.
This plug-in exports a TerraTools database to MÄK GDB terrain format. Export GDB supports MÄK VR-Forces and MÄK Stealth runtime applications.
MÄK VR-Vantage is supported by the TerraTools OpenSceneGraph Export plug-in. This plug-in exports a TerraTools database to MASA SWORD format. TerraTools SWORD export generates a terrain configuration file that references all required geospatial components and layers for the internal SWORD terrain workshop. TerraTools provides the ability to process, format, combine, and adjust a large variety of vector source data layers. The exporter automatically applies required SWORD attribution to source data. TerraTools' advanced integrated triangulated irregular network (ITIN) surface modeling combines multiple digital elevation models into an efficient surface representation.
