These optional export plug-ins are licensed separately and are fully interoperable with all TerraTools processing. TerraTools plug-ins can be used to export databases that are correlated to Bohemia Interactive Simulation (BISim) runtimes and across a variety of visual, constructive, and serious game runtimes.
Bohemia Interactive Simulations (BISim)
This plug-in exports a TerraTools database to a high-fidelity geo-specific environment for Virtual Battlespace (VBS2, VBS3, and VBS IG) users. The VBS exporter plug-in supports multimap support, built-in automated terrain packing, thermal building textures as well as many other VBS-specific environmental enhancements.
The TerraTools VBS exporter plug-in supports VBS2, VBS3, and VBS IG terrain export.
The VBS Blue Source plug-in generates custom high-resolution VBS Blue IG insets to enhance the default global dataset in VBS Blue IG. The new exporter can be easily added to an existing TerraTools project or use the OmniWizard to quickly start a new project with correlated terrain exports to VBS Blue IG and any other supported runtime.
This plug-in exports a TerraTools database visualization to the the MPI OpenFlight format. Users can select which version of the OpenFlight standard is required; TerraTools supports versions 14.2, 15.4, 15.5, 15.7, 15.8, and 16.0. The TerraTools OpenFlight export provides flexibility in organizing TerraTools TSG tiles into collections of OpenFlight blocks and in naming those blocks to support various OpenFlight loader conventions. The exporter supports advanced capabilities including the generation of compressed textures and texture atlases and the export of light points and multi-textures. The Export OpenFlight plug-in also supports MPI MetaFlight file description generation and generation of OpenFlight capstone files to collect OpenFlight files generated separately from different TerraTools projects.
This plug-in exports a TerraTools database to OpenSceneGraph format in versions 2.4, 2.6, 2.8, and 3.0. TerraTools projects can be exported to .osg or .ive files for use in viewers such as OSGViewer and MÄK VR-Vantage.
This plug-in exports a TerraTools database to the OneSAF Terrain Format (OTF) for use in the OneSAF runtime. This plug-in supports single geotile export, multi-cell export with automated edge stitching, sub-geotile export, and polar region export. This plug-in also supports the creation of Ultra High Resolution Buildings (UHRBs) for placement and export to OTF.
This plug-in supports terrain database export to OneSAF 1.1 / OTF 5.0 through OneSAF 7.0 / OTF 8.0, including support for all associated OneSAF Feature EDMs and UHRB EDMs.
This plug-in exports a TerraTools database to a fully tinned, format 7 or format 8.7 CTDB containing terrain, water areas, buildings, linear features, and canopies. Export CTDB supports ModSAF, OTB 2.0, OTB 2.5, and JSAF 8.x runtimes.
This plug-in exports a TerraTools database to .daf format for use in the JCATS runtime. Terrain files can be produced in either UTM or GCS coordinate systems. Supported runtime versions include JCATS 7.1.5, 8, and 12.
This plug-in exports a TerraTools database to MÄK GDB terrain format. Export GDB supports the MÄK VR-Forces runtime application.
MÄK VR-Vantage Stealth is supported by the TerraTools OpenFlight and/or OpenSceneGraph Export plug-ins.

TerraTools SWORD export generates a terrain configuration file that references all required geospatial components and layers for the internal SWORD terrain workshop. TerraTools provides the ability to process, format, combine, and adjust a large variety of vector source data layers. The exporter automatically applies required SWORD attribution to source data. TerraTools' advanced integrated triangulated irregular network (ITIN) surface modeling combines multiple digital elevation models into an efficient surface representation.
This plug-in exports a TerraTools database to a terrain map for use in Steel Beasts Professional. TerraTools Urban DetailsTM processing generates roof clutter, free-standing walls, buildings with interiors, and power lines.
