This plug-in allows users to import and process all standard National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) vector, raster imagery, and DTED formats into a TerraTools project. Vector data includes, but is not limited to: VMAP, DFAD, DNC, UVMAP, and UFD. Raster formats include CIB and CADRG. All DTED level formats are supported. In addition to product specific import nodes, the NGA plug-in provides TerraTools process nodes to support FACC feature name mapping and TerraTools OmniWizard™ processing to automatically read layers stored in NGA Vector Product Format (VPF).

The TerraTools plug-in for BAE Systems' SOCET SET® allows users to create a completely automatic visualization of complex urban areas at each stage of compilation. The combination of a tight, end-to-end image-to-feature-to-visualization production loop and SOCET SET's user-friendly interface allows photogrammetric workstation operators to directly produce 3D geospatial visualizations without a significant investment in new technology, training, or background in real-time computer graphics.
