These optional database interchange plug-ins for TerraTools Core are licensed separately and are fully interoperable with all TerraTools processing.
This plug-in exports terrain and source data from a TerraTools database to SEDRIS Transmittal Format
(STF). Export SEDRIS supports user-creation of ECC and EAC source data classification codes using
TerraTools scripting or the TerraTools feature editor, TEdit. Users can tailor their STF export to their
SEDRIS TCRS specification by connecting their source and derived data in the TerraTools flowgraph.
An STF produced in TerraTools can be composed with the final database polygonal representation along with
material texture appearances and source data layers, both original and processed.
TerraTools exports to SEDRIS 3.0, 4.0, and 4.1 with support for EDCS 2.9 and 4.2 codes.
This plug-in exports a TerraTools database visualization to the the MPI OpenFlight format. Users can
select which version of the OpenFlight standard is required; TerraTools supports versions 14.2 and 15.4
through 16.0. The TerraTools OpenFlight export provides flexibility in organizing TerraTools TSG tiles into
collections of OpenFlight blocks and in naming those blocks to support various OpenFlight loader
conventions. The exporter supports advanced capabilities including the generation of compressed textures and
texture atlases and the export of light points and multi-textures. The Export OpenFlight plug-in also
supports MPI MetaFlight file description generation and generation of OpenFlight capstone files
to collect OpenFlight files generated separately from different TerraTools projects.
This plug-in exports a TerraTools database to OpenSceneGraph format in versions 2.4, 2.6, and 2.8. TerraTools projects can be exported to .osg or .ive files for use in viewers such as OSGViewer and MÄK VR-Vantage.
